Sunday Sept 1 2024
There will be two group starts based on your anticipated speed.
Group 1 Adventurers group 10 am with a 17-20 km pace (6 hrs)
Group 2 Fast Folks group 11am with a 22-25 km pace (5 hrs)
The goal with the 2 starts is to have the riders finish around the same time. Make sure you pick the right group based on your ride skills and speed. There will be a cutoff in place for riders outside the expected pace.
Everything takes place on open trails, roads, all intersections and road crossing are to be taken only when clear for all riders in the group. Riders must obey all road and trail rules, safety is the first priority.
Event goes rain or shine.
Price Increase after July 15 so we can plan for all the extras associated with the ride. GPX file will be released on here and the Facebook page 1 week before the event.

Annapolis Valley Cycling Programs
Youth Program:
We are excited to announce that we are having another year of Valley Devo this spring. The program will run on Wednesdays for 12 weeks focusing on skill drills, short track riding, getting ready to race, and dryland training. The cost is $120 plus a CNS Membership. The program will be coached by Peter Dewar, April Muirhead, and Michael Waterbury.
· Please ensure that the rider is capable of riding singletrack and for 1 hour before signing up.
· 7-14 years of age
· Space this year will be limited to 15 riders.

· Location will be at the Credit Union Rec Complex.

Race Squad:
This group is more advanced than the regular Valley Devo Program and will meet on Thursdays starting in April for 12 consecutive weeks. The program will consist of training for short track, provincial and out of province mtb racing and will be coached by Peter Dewar and Brandon Curry. During the weeks of short track, the evenings will consist of warm-up, some course set-up, and race strategies and a cool down. The cost to participate is $120 plus CNS Membership.
